Meet Dr. Seraina Naef, Psy. D.​

Dr. Seraina Naef has over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in various settings. Dr. Naef received her B.A.s in Psychology and Political Science in 2006 from Pennsylvania State University. She received her Masters of Arts degree in General Psychology from Boston University in 2007 and completed her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology in 2011 from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Naef completed her practicum at South Bay Child Guidance Center where she conducted outpatient therapy and psychological assessments with children, adolescents and families. She then transitioned to a school-based program at Alhambra High School for her first internship. She conducted individual therapy with high school students and family therapy through the school based program, Child, Youth, and Family Services Consortium. After completing this internship Dr. Naef conducted individual outpatient therapy with college students (ages 18-56) at California State University, Dominguez Hills, exhibiting a range of difficulties including trauma reactions, dissociation, anxiety, depression, academic issues, and substance use. Dr. Naef then completed her post-doctoral hours working at Pacific Lodge Youth Services and San Pedro Mental Health Clinic. Pacific Lodge Youth Services is a group home for juvenile boys ages 13-18, conducting residential therapeutic services and psychological assessments. At the San Pedro Mental Health Clinic Dr. Naef provided psychological assessments, group therapy, and individual outpatient therapy for under-served populations.

 

Dr. Naef obtained her Clinical Psychologist license (Psy 25505) in January 2013 and opened Rolling Hills Therapy.
