Services
Children
We work with children of all ages by means of a variety of therapeutic modalities. We utilize play, something that comes naturally for children, in a therapeutic way to address behavioral or emotional struggles that the family may be dealing with. Play is a child's language and at Rolling Hills Therapy we assess your child’s developmental level and tailor the play to their unique interests. Play has been used effectively to help young children share their thoughts and feelings in a safe supportive environment. With the expression of feelings, inevitably comes change. Family therapy may be integrated into therapeutic work with children to increase positive movement and support.
Adolescents
Rolling Hills Therapy works with preteens and teens. The foundation of treatment working with these clients requires trust and a strong connection of understanding between the client and the therapist. We engage with adolescents by creating a safe space for them to share their feelings and concerns during an already tumultuous time of life. We believe this is the time of life when we begin to develop the foundational coping skills necessary to thrive as adults in relationships, work, and personal growth.
Individual Therapy
Life is filled with ups and downs and sometimes we need some help navigating through it all. Be it a life transition, a loss of a loved one, or a past trauma you want to move forward from, these are all issues that can be addressed by Rolling Hills Therapy. We specialize in trauma, grief and loss, as well as other major life transitions.
Psychological Testing
Psychological Testing and academic testing is a service provided by Rolling Hills Therapy designed to assess emotional, academic, and cognitive functioning. Assessments can include projective, intelligence / achievement, and personality testing.
ADHD Evaluation
At Rolling Hills Therapy our ADHD evaluation is a targeted comprehensive assessment of childhood and current symptoms, designed to diagnosis (or rule out) ADHD. These evaluations can be used for Individual Education Programs justification for increased services and/or accommodations.
